odd, how your perceptions change over time.........
every single sargassum patch offshore, i can vividly remember, every color change, every time i went was stamped into my memory.........
watching the marlin swim like in slow motion, such awesome graceful creatures, with the speed of lightning........
then in the blink of an eye, a gigantic boil in the water, like a submarine, out leaps this huge inquisitive freight train with an attitude..........
i can see it look down , as if in slow motion, cocking its head slightly, choosing which morsel it will inhale.............
there is not a doubt what is unfolding before my very eyes...........
over and over ,time an again this scene is replayed with each massive inhalation of a particular bait............
black bart,wayno's, softheads,bullyhoo's,candies,chuggers,and on and on, it does not matter, color........"hell no"
ballyhoo,mullet,mackeral's, ........."hell no"
does it matter................."hell no" ,marlins eat anything, even williamson lures ,"hippy"............
twisted ,beaded,braided...........
when you are in the right place, ...........don't toss a banana over.
and that's exactly what it's all about. every form of fishing , right down to catching chofers. all the same.
if,............and it's a huge if, if you find that right place, well............you know it.
there is always something to catch somewhere, on something.............
and then there is that place, and that moment, where dreams are made............
where you get no second chance, that one chance in a lifetime............
every second is etched , like a trophy , you see every second unfold, as paint flows on the canvas of life, the 'realness'
